Region Free DVD Players
If you're like me you are pretty annoyed that your DVD player won't play chinese or japanese encoded DVDs.
Well, the cool cats at J-list are now selling all region capable DVD players out of their San Diego, California office! They will play DVDs from any region on earth! Which is pretty damn sweet! They also have a model that does conversions from PAL ( japanese video format) to NTSC (American video format) as well as one model that even does what for me is a holy-grail-like feature, which is to copy from DVD to VHS without interference or scrambling! I have personally hoped for this feature to become available for some time. At least until I can afford a DVD burner that will truly and easily copy a DVD (without fucking it up or changing it) that is priced so I can afford it and ISN'T a component of my computer!
They run from $109.00 to $176.00 and have a shipping cost of $15 to $26.00 in the U.S. Check out the models and their features at:

if this URL gives you trouble, go to www.jlist.com and when you pass through thier gate into thier home-page look in the lower left hand corner for a banner link to thier DVD player page. It's good times!
